Jeep Wagoneer...why are they so cool?
Jeep Wagoneers are probably my most favorit Jeep. They are the “tank” of the Jeep World and make true the term FSJ, Full Size Jeep. You can bring the entire family, including the dog and another family. Marking production years from 1963 to 1991, it stood virtually unchanged which makes it a nice candidate for restoration and/or modification. You can swap parts from pretty much all makes and models to make it as vintage or unique as you want. You can get all your Jeep, AMC and specifically Wagoneer parts from eBay. New Jeep parts, remanufactured Jeep parts or used Jeep parts. If you want it, eBay will have it and they are the first place I look for used Jeep parts. Full Size Jeeps also had the option of the venerable AMC 360 or Mighty AMC 401. AMC Jeep Engines, although a bit more money to make into a power house compared to the Chevy 350, are just as easy to modify, work on and convert to your needs. Be it Propane Conversion, TBI Conversion, EFI or straight Carb, these engines rock and give you the nostalgic feeling of keeping it Jeep even if the rest of the rig is a metamorphasis or parts. So go ahead and buy one… you’ll absolutely LOVE IT! Keep it Jeep ;o)
